These terms cover Rebeccat, a browser extension, and Rebeccat Pro, the paid upgrade sold on this website. Rebeccat is made by Cezar Augusto ("we"). By installing Rebeccat or buying Pro, you agree to these terms.
Who sells Pro
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
What you get
- Rebeccat (free) hides personal information on the pages you have open. It's free to use for personal and commercial purposes.
- Rebeccat Pro adds text in images, the PDF viewer, blurring all media, and the Pro features we add later. Pro is unlocked with a license key for one person, which you may use in every browser you use yourself.
- Yearly plans renew automatically every year until you cancel. Canceling stops the next renewal; Pro keeps working until the end of the year you paid for. Lifetime is a single payment for as long as Rebeccat is offered.
Refunds
See our refund policy: a full refund within 14 days, no questions asked.
Your license key
Your key is personal. Please don't share or resell it. A key from a refunded or charged-back order, or one shared publicly, is no longer licensed for use.
No guarantee of complete protection
Rebeccat is a safety net, not a guarantee. Detection can miss personal information, especially in formats it can't read, such as text inside video frames or apps that draw text as pictures. Check your screen before you share it. Rebeccat is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for any information that Rebeccat fails to hide.
Privacy
Rebeccat collects nothing from your browser. Our privacy policy has the details.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date. If you don't agree with a change, you can cancel or ask for a refund within the refund window.
